Moneygate is an Electronic Money Institution authorised and regulated by the Central Bank of Cyprus. We were established to give corporate clients a serious, regulated alternative to traditional financial institutions — one that is faster to access, simpler to use, and built around how businesses actually operate. Since receiving our licence in 2022, we have grown consistently — in the number of clients we serve, the volume we process, and the capabilities we offer. We remain profitable, privately owned, and focused on long-term quality over short-term scale. Our team is based in Nicosia, Cyprus. We have built our own compliance tooling, maintain a strong relationship with our regulator, and operate without regulatory incident since launch. We take seriously the responsibility that comes with holding client funds and processing payments for businesses that depend on us. We are growing. Our next phase focuses on embedded financial infrastructure, making it possible for platforms and partners to offer their clients regulated payment accounts without needing their own licence. The model is live and working.
