​Abrdn Announces Acquisition of Interactive Investor for £1.49 Billion

Abrdn, a UK-based global investment company and asset manager, recently announced its acquisition of Interactive Investor (II), the UK's leading flat-fee investment platform, for £1.49 billion.

This transaction, subject to regulatory approval, is expected to enhance Abrdn's presence and growth opportunities within the fast-growing personal wealth market.

As part of the deal, Interactive Investor CEO Richard Wilson will join Abrdn and continue to head up II. II will continue to operate as a standalone business and independent brand under Abrdn's ownership.
