CFI Financial Group reported its strongest first half on record, with trading volume reaching $5.34 trillion in the first six months of 2026 as client activity remained strong across global markets.

The company said second-quarter trading volume totaled $3.03 trillion, up 31% from the first quarter and 101% higher than the same period a year earlier.

Finance Magnates previously reported that CFI generated $2.3 trillion in trading volume during the first quarter of 2026, up 11% quarter-on-quarter and 81% year-on-year. According to the company, the stronger second-quarter performance reflected demand across multiple asset classes and continued adoption of its trading platforms.

Active clients rose 8.4% year-on-year in the second quarter. Metals accounted for the highest level of trading activity, followed by equity indices.

CFI also reported executing more than 42.47 million trades, a 74% increase from a year earlier. The company added that the vast majority of trading activity took place through mobile platforms.

"The strongest first half in our history reflects the strength of those relationships and the confidence our clients place in our platform every day," Chief Executive Officer Ziad Melhem said.

He added that the company would continue investing in "people, technology and infrastructure" while focusing on long-term growth.

Separately, CFI expanded its operations into additional markets during the quarter. The company said it obtained regulatory authorization in Brazil, extending its presence in Latin America following its recent launch in Colombia. In the United Arab Emirates, it introduced local stock trading, while in Bahrain it expanded its product offering to include regulated digital asset products after receiving regulatory approval.

The company also said its Global Technology Center in Malaysia continued to expand, supporting engineering, product development and technology functions across its international operations.

According to the company, the group now operates through 15 regulated entities and employs more than 700 people representing 48 nationalities.
