Quilter Appoints Tazim Essani as New Board Audit Committee Member
Quilter, a leading provider of advice, investments and wealth management in the UK and internationally, announced that its Non Executive Director Tazim Essani would join the board audit committee, effective from 1 September 2021.
In her new role, Essani will focus on further promoting Quilter’s diversity and inclusion, and work closely with Paul Matthews, who was named as the Non Executive Director in May 2020.
Essani brings over 30 years experience of corporate strategy and M&A. As detailed on her LinkedIn, she currently also is Non Executive Director at City of London Investment, and Member of Audit and Risk Committee, Royal Horticultural Society.
Previously, Essani served as Head of Business Strategy and Performance at Santander UK. Prior to that, she has been with Close Brothers as Group Head of Corporate Development for about 9 years, and with GE and GE Money as Managing Director Business Development for 7 years.
