Crypto.com Secures Patrick Yoon as General Manager of South Korea

Cryptocurrency exchange Crypto.com today announced the appointment of Patrick Yoon as its new General Manager of South Korea. 

Mr Yoon is an expert in digital transformation, strategy, corporate development (M&A) and turnaround management. As seen on his Linkedin profile, Mr Yoon joins Crypto.com from Visa, where he served as Country Manager of Visa Korea and Mongolia for the last 3 years. Before this role, he hold senior local and global roles with Standard Chartered Bank in Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, and the United Kingdom.

Prior to joining Standard Chartered Bank, STC English Ideas, Inc utilised his services as CEO from October 1999 to September 2005. Mr Yoon began his career at Hyundai Research Institute, a company provides consulting, economy related research, HRD consulting, and education. He left the company after 1 year and 4 months. Then he worked at Morgan Stanley as Senior Associate, where he spent for over 2 years.
