Deutsche Börse Welcomes Barbara Roth as Head of Group Audit

The world’s leading exchange organizations Deutsche Börse announced on Wednesday the appointment of Barbara Roth as its Managing Director, Group Audit, effective from 1 January 2022.

Currently, Barbara serves as Chief Compliance Officer & Executive Vice President at Unicredit Bank AG, a pan-European Commercial Bank, where she had been for approximately 14 years. Prior to this role, she was Head of CIB (Corporate & Investment Banking) Compliance from January 2011 to April 2016. And she joined the firm as Vice President in 2007. Before Unicredit, Barbara has been with KfW as Senior Manager for 2 years. Besides, she also was Senior Associate at McDermott Will & Emery from 2003 to 2005.

Shortly before, Fazzaco reported that Deutsche Börse has published the trading metrics across its cash markets for August​, disclosing that its cash markets generated a total turnover of €137.6 billion over the last month, which is a 14.8 percent up year-over-year.
