Cboe FX Markets Sees 4.9% MoM Decrease in Total Volume in October 2021

Cboe FX Markets, a foreign exchange (forex) provider to the institutions, has published its monthly trading volume numbers for October 2021. The demand for the platform's services decreased on a month-on-month basis.
More specifically, the broker registered a total volume of $717 billion, which was down by 4.9 percent compared to $754 billion in September 2021. That number for the same period in 2020 was $681 billion.
Average daily volume (ADV) for the month reached $34.1 billion, compared to $34.3 billion in the previous month. October had a total of 21 trading days.
In late October, Fazzaco reported that Cboe Global Markets has posted its financial results for the third-quarter of 2021. Cboe's net revenue stood at $370 million in Q3 2021, which is up by nearly 27 percent compared to Q3 2020. The operating income of Cboe rose to $190.7 million in the recent quarter, compared to $139.3 million in the same period last year.
