Admirals UK Director of Trading Risk and Trading Products Zahid Mahmood Departs

Fazzaco learned that Zahid Mahmood has decided to end his position as Director of Trading Risk and Trading Products at Admirals UK, the London-based arm of Admirals, a global retail FX and CFDs broker. Also, he has resigned from the Board of Directors of the firm.
Zahid joined this broker in January 2021. Prior to this, he was Director of Compliance and Trading Risk at House Of Borse. Additionally, he has held roles of Head of Compliance and Brokerage Desk at FX STAT for four years, and of Investment Advisor at Beaufort Securities Ltd.
"It is difficult to wish for a better, hard-working, determined, much honored and valued member to our global team than Zahid. While I fully understand his decision to move on in his professional career, I am sad to see him leave Admirals because his contribution to the success of the company is significant. He was one of the key players in our UK's operations and an outstanding role-model for the team. I am deeply grateful for all his good work and wish him great success in his new endeavors," said Sergei Bogatenkov, CEO of Admirals.
In early September, Fazzaco reported that Admirals has released its interim financial statements for the half year ended 30 June 2022, unveiling that its revenues stood at €43 million and net profit at €24 million, as compared to €18.4 million and €1.8 million respectively in the same period last year.
At the end of August, the broker lost its long-time employee Jens Chrzanowski.
