Trading 212 Registers 512 Percent Surge in Total Income for FY2021

The online FX and CFD broker Trading 212 Group has posted its financial results for FY2021, unveiling that considering taxes and other FX conversion costs, the total comprehensive income rose 512 percent to £71.6 million from £11.6 million in the prior year.
Total revenue of the group for the whole last year stood at £138.7 million, increasing 11.2 percent on a year basis. The pre-tax profits grew 473 percent to £86 million.

Trading 212 is a holding company of four subsidiaries which are registered in the United Kingdom, Bulgaria, Cyprus, and Germany. The UK arm has produced over £94 million in revenue in FY2021, up 74 percent year over year, with pre-tax profits rising from £26.96 million in 2020 to £56 million.
Whereas, the German unit is shutting down. The clients under the entity are being transitioned to the UK and Cypriot arms, based on their locations. The process is expected to be completed by the end of 2022. The UK division held £2.9 billion in client assets at the end of 2021, compared to that of Cypriot entity of £39.4 million.
In February, Fazzaco reported that Trading 212 registered a revenue of £124 million for FY2020, up more than 300% compared to the previous year's £29.7 million.
