Exness' Trading Volume up 5% MoM in December Though Active Clients Declined

The leading global multi-asset broker Exness has released the trading volume statistics with forex and contracts for differences (CFDs) instruments on its platform for the month of December 2022, showing a monthly rise in its total trading volume despite a decline in the number of active customers.

According to the broker, the total trading volume for the month came in at $2525 billion, which is up from last month's $2405 billion. That was a month-over-month increase of almost 5 percent.

However, Exness saw an decrease in the number of active clients, with 374,978 clients placing trades during the month, down 2.3 percent from November's 383,846.

In Q4 2022, the trading provider honored $1.1346 billion of client withdrawals, up by 3 percent over $1.1025 billion in Q3. The company paid out $99.1 million in partner rewards in Q4, which is down from Q3's $106.5 million.

Exness has an impressive global footprint in the FX and CFD space. The company has announced major hires to ramp up its international growth plans. Earlier, it has appointed Greta Killyte as the Head of Regional Marketing​ for building its regional marketing strategy.
