CySEC Revokes CIF License of FF Simple and Smart Trades Investment Services Ltd

The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) announced yesterday the withdrawal of the Cyprus Investment Firm (CIF) authorisation with Number 080/07 of FF Simple and Smart Trades Investment Services Ltd.

The decision to revoke the CIF license of the aforementioned broker was made on the Cypriot regulator’s meeting of 28th November 2022, pursuant to section 8(1)(a) of the Investment Services and Activities and Regulated Markets Law of 2017 and section 4(7) of Directive DI87-05.

CySEC explained that it made the decision because FF Simple and Smart Trades Investment Services Ltd has voluntarily renounced the license.

Last week, the financial regulator issued a list of company websites​, none of the five listed websites belong to any Cypriot investment firms. CySEC urges investors to consult its website, before conducting business with investment firms, in order to ascertain the entities which are licensed to provide investment services and/or investment activities.
