ATFX UK Names State Street's Chris James Head of Liquidity Management

AT Global Markets UK Limited, known as ATFX UK, the UK subsidiary of retail FX broker ATFX, has selected State Street’s Chris James to assume the role of Head of Liquidity Management.

Most recently, James was at State Street Global Exchange - Currenex, a market-leading technology provider offering the FX community high-performance technology and deep pools of liquidity, responsible for liquidity management. He has been on this role for approximately eight years.

Between July 2008 and January 2015, James served Alpari (UK) Ltd, the UK unit of the leading FX and CFDs broker Alpari Group that entered insolvency on January 19, 2015, as Senior Trader. Earlier in his career, he has worked at Henyep Investment (UK) Ltd, Fidelity Investments and Deutsche Bank.

The last appointment follows ATFX's further strengthening its operation in MENA with the hire of Khaldoun Sharaiha​ as its Chief Executive Officer MENA last October.
