Saxo Bank Establishes Partnership with China’s Guotai Junan Securities

Saxo Markets Singapore, the Singapore unit of Saxo Bank, has entered a strategic partnership with Guotai Junan Securities, one of the largest investment banks and securities companies in China.

Saxo Bank, a Copenhagen-based retail multi-asset broker, is controlled by China's Geely Group.

With this collaboration and , Guotai's clients in China can gain more access to global financial instruments and products through Saxo Bank platform.

"We believe our respective expertise can drive mutual innovations as we help more curious people get invested in the global financial markets. I see a lot of win-win as we strengthen our collaborations in brokerage, settlement, asset and wealth management, custody, FX, futures, employee training and information exchange and other fields, and I look forward to the great collaboration ahead," stated Adam Reynolds, APAC CEO at Saxo.

Previously, Fazzaco reported that Saxo Bank's total trading volume for January 2023​ stood at $375.6 billion, declining 9.6 percent compared to the prior month and approximately 14.3 percent from the first month of 2022.
