Dukascopy Bank Flags Its Another Fraudulent Website Clone

Dukascopy Bank SA, Geneva-based retail FX broker, today informed about its website's fraudulent clone on the domain https://dukascopy1.com/. It urged customers to be aware that this website is not controlled and does not belong to Dukascopy Bank, Dukascopy Europe, Dukascopy Japan, or any other entity of Dukascopy Group.
The brokerage warns investors not to trust any information to be found on the website https://dukascopy1.com/, and not to provide any personal data on this website.
Dukascopy Bank is taking action against this fraudulent webpage.
At the end of 2022, Dukascopy Bank announced that its deposit protection regulation is changing from 1st January 2023 for accounts held at Swiss banks (deposit insurance scheme) for specific customers.
For joint accounts, if several persons own an account together, this group is treated as an individual, separate client when it comes to protection. If this group holds multiple accounts, these are added together. The balance for the group is protected up to a total of CHF 100 000.
If individuals in such a group have their own separate client relationship with the bank, a balance of up to CHF 100 000 is also protected for this separate client relationship.
