26 Degrees Hires Hiroaki Nagakura as Head of Prime Services for Japan

Sydney-based leading multi-asset broker 26 Degrees Global Markets (26 Degrees), formerly known as Invast Global, has appointed Japanese industry veteran Hiroaki Nagakura as its Head of Prime Services - Japan, effective immediately.
With over 30 years of experience in forex industry, 15 of those in senior executive positions, Nagakura joined 26 Degrees from Rakuten Securities, one of Japan's largest online brokerages, where he served as Managing Executive Officer for more than a decade. During his 12-year tenure in Rakuten, he was responsible for the establishment of Rakuten's FX business unit and saw a growth of over $100 million (JPY 14.6 billion) in its FX revenue.
Nagakura had also held roles including Managing Director for Australia and Director for Hong Kong at Rakuten Securities, and played a key role in the acquisition of FXCM Japan and HK.
