Hantec Markets Chief Strategy Officer Tony Sharpe Leaves for Trade Nation

Fazzaco learned that Tony Sharpe, the Chief Strategy Officer at the Forex and CFD trading platform Hantec Markets, has stepped down after more than six years. Tony has joined Trade Nation, a regulated platform for CFD and spread trading, taking on the same role, based in London.

He brings over two decades of experience in the financial industry to Trade Nation, based on his LinkedIn profile. Prior to Hantec Markets, he mainly worked on compliance and trading roles.

Between July 2014 and September 2016, Tony was Head of Compliance and MLRO (Money Laundering Reporting Officer) at Avus Capital Ltd. Before that, he has spent over three years at GKFX, as Head of Treasury and MLRO.

His trading roles included Trading Manager at Think Investment Solutions, Derivatives Desk Manager at Jarvis Investment Management, Senior Trader/Credit Manager Spread Betting at ODL Securities, and Senior Trader at IFX Markets.

Tony began his career at Sporting Index, one of the world's leading names in sports betting technology and trading, in 1999 as Group Reporting Analyst.
