Compagnie Financière Tradition Reports Slight Increase in Consolidated Revenue in Q3 2023

Compagnie Financière Tradition (CFT), one of the world's largest interdealer brokers in over-the-counter financial and commodity related products, generated consolidated revenue of CHF 225.0 million in the third quarter of 2023 (Q3 2023), a modest increase from Q3 2022 at constant exchange rates.

At current exchange rates, the quarterly consolidated revenue declined 3.2 percent from the year-ago quarter's CHF 232.4 million.

The consolidated adjusted revenue during this period came in at CHF241.1 million, compared to the last same period's CHF 252.6 million, up 2.6 percent excluding any currency effect.

The consolidated adjusted revenue from interdealer broking business (IDB) grew 2.9 percent, with the forex trading business for retail investors in Japan (Non-IDB) down 6.3 percent.

For the first nine months of the year, the group's consolidated revenue was CHF 738.3 million, up 9.7 percent at constant exchange rates from CHF 716.3 million in the same period in 2022. At current exchange rates, the figure increased 3.1 percent. Consolidated adjusted revenue reached CHF 793.5 million, compared to CHF 777.7 million in 2022.

In the first half of 2023​, the Group produced consolidated revenue including the share of joint ventures of CHF 552.4 million, an increase of 11.8 percent at constant exchange rates from CHF 525.1 million in H1 2022.
