Fazzaco learned that two prop trading firms, The Funded Trader and Skilled Funded Traders have  temporarily ceased all opeartions. Both companies have taken down their websites.

The Funded Trader notes that over the coming week, it will follow up with specifics as it works to resume operations. Its page also shows a countdown timer, which as at the time of writing is at about 19 days and 21 hours from now.

Skilled Funded Traders will also explore alternatives to relaunch over the coming week.

"Thank you for your continued support and loyalty," said these two firms.

"Being in the position we are in, it completely floors me to say that we have to pause operations of TFT (The Funded Trader). What does that mean? The most important thing to us is to deliver to all our existing customers," Angelo Ciaramello, The Funded Trader CEO explained in an X post.

He added that in pausing The Funded Trader's operations, the firm will be relaunching the brand but with a slightly different look and feel.

Shortly before, Fazzaco reported that James Glyde, a former longtime executive at Spotware Systems, the developer of the widely used cTrader trading platform, has started a new brand in the prop trading space, named PipFarm.
