CySEC Flags 12 New Illegal Investment Websites

The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) has today (April 22, 2024) updated its blacklist of unregulated entities, with the addition of twelve websites that belong to an entity which provides investment services and conducts investment activities without authorization.

These twelve illegal websites are as follows:

• fpmhelenic.com & client.clients-area.com/register

• doofinancial.com

• wallstreet-fx.io

• vstarsoho.net

• alfacapitalmarket.com

• forexelite.co & forexelite.trade/private

The Cypriot financial watchdog warns investors to exercise utmost caution when dealing with investment firms to be risk-averse.

Last week, CySEC further extended the suspension of the Cyprus Investment Firm (CIF) authorisation of FTX (EU) Ltd​, the European unit of the failed crypto giant FTX, until September 30, 2024.
