Saxo Bank Appoints Casper Andreas Solbakken as Global Head of Commercial Offering & Experience

Fazzaco has learned that Saxo Bank, an online trading and investment specialist based in Copenhagen, has promoted Casper Andreas Solbakken to the position of Global Head of Commercial Offering & Experience.

In his new role, Solbakken will be responsible for overseeing the production, pricing, and platforms to ensure that investors and traders using Saxo Platforms have a first-class investing and trading experience.

Solbakken has been with the online trading and investment giant for over 18 years, serving in various roles. He started his career at Saxo Bank in March 2006 as a Student Assistant in Equities/Derivatives. In July 2019, he was promoted to Head of Equities after working as a Quantitative Trader for over 11 years and as a ten-month Product Specialist for Equities. From October 2021 to June 2023, he held the position of Global Head of Products and Services. Since July 2023, he has been serving as the Global Head of Products, Pricing, and Platforms.

Recently, Saxo Bank underwent a restructuring process, merging its Global Sales and SXO​ into a new entity called Group Commercial. As part of this change, Stig Christensen, the bank's Chief Sales Officer, has been appointed as the Chief Commercial Officer to lead the merged unit.
