Robinhood Unveils Robinhood Crypto Trading API for U.S. Clients

Robinhood Crypto, the cryptocurrency division of American stock trading company Robinhood, has announced on Thursday (May 30) the launch of the Robinhood Crypto trading API for its customers in the United States. This new API will allow users to access and review cryptocurrency market data, manage their portfolios and account information, and place cryptocurrency orders programmatically.

Johann Kerbrat, VP and GM of Robinhood Crypto, said: "With our new crypto trading API, we're helping customers harness the full potential of Robinhood Crypto with precision and confidence. Robinhood Crypto has continued to see its market share increase as customers get access to a growing number of advanced trading tools to help them efficiently navigate the crypto market."

According to the announcement, by utilizing the trading API, Robinhood Crypto customers in the US can set up advanced and automated trading strategies to stay ahead of market trends and react in a timely manner to significant market movements. Additionally, the API simplifies the process of trading cryptocurrencies by allowing users to trade without having to open the app.

Earlier this month, Robinhood Crypto introduced several new features in the EU​, such as crypto staking, localized apps, and educational resources.
