Punit Ghumra Joins Exinity as Group Chief Financial Officer

Fazzaco has learned that seasoned finance expert Punit Ghumra has joined Exinity, a leading online trading provider for CFDs, stocks, FX, Indicies and commodities, as Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO), based in Dubai.
Ghumra shared on LinkedIn earlier today: "Excited to share that I've joined Exinity as Group CFO! I'm looking forward to contributing to the company's vision and working with an incredibly talented team to achieve new heights."
According to his LinkedIn profile, Ghumra joined Exinity from Hubpay, a UAE-based cross-border payments company where he had served as Vice President of Finance for five years. Ghumra has a strong base in London and Dubai, with significant financial leadership experience in various organizations, including the role of Head of Finance at Millennium Global Investments Limited, a UK investment company, and Vice President - Group Finance at GP Bullhound, a software advisory and investment firm. From January 2020 to December 2021, Ghumra spearheaded the strategic alliance sector at COO Network, a not-for-profit platform which stimulates innovative thinking and collaborative connections amongst professionals across the Middle East region.
Ghumra commenced his career at the Royal Bank of Scotland through the bank's International Banking & Finance Programme. Shortly after, he transitioned to Gordian Knot, a British investment management firm, where he excelled as Financial Control for a consecutive five-year period.
Exinity, which operates renowned trading brands like Alpari and FXTM, has recently undergone several major senior management changes, including the departure of its Compliance Director & MLRO Simon Henry, and the appointment of Matthew Wright, the former CEO of ZenFinex, as its Chief Operating Officer.
