Fazzaco Reports: Client Account Profit/Loss Ratio of 32 Brokers in June 2024

Fazzaco collected the data of profit/loss ratio of client accounts from 32 brokers in June 2024. The brokers we have in this month-on-month comparison are different from last month: eToro has been removed due to failure to obtain their updates; meanwhile, TradeView Markets and PRC Broker have been added to the list. The specific data are shown in the table below:


Among the 32 brokers this month, an average of 28.91% of client accounts achieved profits, while 71.79% of client accounts suffered losses. Compared with the average data in May 2024, the winning rate of client accounts increased by 0.98%.
It is worth pointing out that out of the data Fazzaco collected this month, only three brokers showed data changes, while the rest remain the same as May.
Among them, Swissquote ranked first with a 50% profit rate of client accounts. Hantec Markets comes right after with a 38% profit rate, and its data remained unchanged this month.
Other brokers that have 30% or more of client accounts winning money include the newly added TradeView Markets (36%), Earn (35.20%), Saxo Bank (35%), Admirals and ADS Securities (33%), FXCM and ActivTrades (32%), Markets.com (31.30%), City Index and Forex.com (31%), and TeraFX (30.88%).
The highest loss rate of client accounts went to Valutrades, with 85 out of every 100 clients losing money. In addition, Capital Index (84.61%), FxPro (82%), Capital.com (80.84%) and Plus500 (80%) all had 80% or more of client accounts losing money.

From the table above, it can be seen that compared with May 2024, among the 32 brokers this month, only 3 showed monthly changes. 2 of them had a lower month-on-month loss rate (marked green), and 1 had a higher month-on-month loss rate (marked red), and the rest, excluding the 2 newly added, other 27 brokers remained unchanged (or did not update their data in time).
The broker with the most significant month-on-month improvement was Swissquote, of which the loss rate dropped 11% month-on-month. ActivTrades saw 2% down. ThinkMarkets saw a 6.5% m-o-m rise.
In terms of year-on-year, compared with June 2023, among the 29 brokers (excluding Valutrades, TradeView Markets and PRC Broker), a total of 23 had a lower year-on-year loss rate (marked green), 5 brokers had a higher year-on-year loss rate (marked red), and 1 remained unchanged. Among them, the brokers with significant changes include: Swissquote (down 25% year-on-year) and ThinkMarkets (up 9.55% year-on-year).
