Prop firm Goat Funded Trader (GFT) has just informed its clients regarding the shift from MetaTrader to TradeLocker. In an announcement on Thursday via Discord, GFT CEO Edoardo Dalla Torre confirmed the withdrawal of services for MT4, citing ongoing reliability issues that have impacted trader satisfaction. This decision represents a second instance this year where GFT has chosen to part ways with MetaTrader due to licensing complications.
"Due to multiple outages of Platform4 and our continuous commitment to ensure our traders have a good trading experience, all Platform4 accounts will now be migrated to MatchTrader," stated Dalla Torre, reassuring traders that their open positions would be seamlessly transferred to the new platform, ensuring continuity in trading operations.
