Funds For Traders Ceases Operations Due to Platform Support Issues

Funds For Traders has announced it will be shutting down its operations, attributing the closure to Eightcap's recent decision to withdraw support for MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 platforms, which are critical for proprietary trading.
In a statement posted on X, the company explained, "We regret to inform you that as of today, we will be ceasing all operations at Funds For Traders. This decision was made after receiving news from Eightcap that they would no longer be supporting the MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 platforms for prop trading. Unfortunately, this means that we can no longer offer these platforms to our users."
Funds For Traders extended its gratitude to its users, acknowledging their contributions over the years. The company assured traders with ongoing challenges that they would be contacted and supported during the transition period. This announcement comes in the wake of similar closures in the proprietary trading sector. Karma Capital recently closed its operations due to issues including a failed tech solution and inadequate risk checks, while Funded Engineer declared bankruptcy despite efforts to restructure. True Forex Funds also ended its services, citing financial difficulties and the termination of its MT4 and MT5 licenses by MetaQuotes.
