Fazzaco Reports: Client Account Profit/Loss Ratio of 29 Brokers in December 2024

Fazzaco collected the data of profit/loss ratio of client accounts from 29 brokers in December 2024. The specific data are shown in the table below:

Among the 29 brokers this month, an average of 28.16% of client accounts achieved profits, while 71.84% of client accounts suffered losses. Compared with the average data in November 2024, the winning rate of client accounts decreased by 0.2%.

Among them, Hantec Markets and Admirals both ranked first with a 39% profit rate of client accounts. Gildencrest Capital comes right after with a 36.07% profit rate. Followed by TradeView Markets and FXCM, both fall at a 36% profit rate. It is worth pointing out that the ranking is of the same of last month.

Other brokers that have 30% or more of client accounts winning money include Earn (33.42%), ADSS (33%), as well as City Index, CMC Markets and IG Group (31%); FXDD (30.3%), and Valutrades (30%).

The highest loss rate of client accounts went to Capital Index, with 84.58 out of every 100 clients losing money. In addition, Capital.com (82.67%), FxPro (82%), and Plus500 (80%) all had 80% or more of client accounts losing money.

From the table above, it can be seen that compared with November 2024, among the 29 brokers this month, only 3 have seen monthly changes, with one seeing lower client accounts losing rate (marked green), which is Dukascopy (-0.51%); and two seeing higher losing rate (marked red), which are ActivTrades (1%) and Markets.com (5%).

In terms of year-on-year, compared with December 2023, among the 28 brokers (excluding TradeView Markets), a total of 15 had a lower year-on-year loss rate (marked green), 11 brokers had a higher year-on-year loss rate (marked red), and the rest remained unchanged. Among them, the brokers with significant changes include: Valutrades (down 14.90% year-on-year) and Markets.com (up 6.30% year-on-year).
