Fazzaco Reports: Client Account Profit/Loss Ratio of 28 Brokers in January 2025

Fazzaco collected the profit/loss ratio data of client accounts from 28 brokers in January 2025. ADSS is no longer included in the report as it has exited the UK market. The specific data are shown in the table below:


Among the 28 brokers this month, an average of 27.69% of client accounts achieved profits, while 72.31% of client accounts suffered losses. Compared with the average data in December 2024, the winning rate of client accounts decreased by 0.47%.
TradeView Markets ranked first this month with a 47.76% profit rate of client accounts. Hantec Markets followed closely with a 42% profit rate, while Admirals secured third place with 39%.
Other brokers with 30% or more of client accounts achieving profits include FXCM (37%), Gildencrest Capital (36.21%), Earn (33.42%), CMC Markets and Valutrades (31%), FXDD (30.3%), and both City Index and IG Group (30%).
The highest loss rate of client accounts went to Capital Index, with 84.58 out of every 100 clients losing money, unchanged from the previous month. Additionally, FxPro (84%), Capital.com (82.12%), iFOREX Europe (81.33%), and Plus500 (80%) all recorded loss rates equal to or exceeding 80%.


From the table above, it can be seen that compared with December 2024, 15 out of the 28 brokers experienced monthly changes. Among them, eight brokers saw lower client account loss rates (marked green), including FXCM (-1.00%), Markets.com (-1.60%), and TradeView Markets (-11.76%), while seven brokers saw higher loss rates (marked red), including FxPro (2.00%), IG Group (1.00%), and iFOREX Europe (8.13%).
In terms of year-on-year data, compared with January 2024, among the 27 brokers (excluding TradeView Markets), 12 brokers recorded lower loss rates (marked green), while 12 brokers saw higher loss rates (marked red). Notable changes include Valutrades (down 15.90% year-on-year) and ActivTrades (up 9.00% year-on-year).
