GO Markets Sees Departure of Head of Risk & Product Development

GO Markets, an Australia-based retail broker specializing in Forex and CFDs, has announced the departure of Peter Spanos, its Head of Risk & Product Development. Spanos joined the company in early 2023, bringing years of industry experience to the role.
Prior to his tenure at GO Markets, Spanos held the position of Head of Market Risk at Pepperstone, another prominent Australian broker, where he served for five years. His career also includes roles at CMC Markets and IG Group, giving him extensive expertise in managing risk and product development in the highly competitive retail trading sector.
GO Markets, established in 2006 and headquartered in Melbourne, provides trading services to both individual and institutional clients. The broker offers a wide range of products, including Margin FX, Commodities, Indices, and Share CFDs, and operates under regulatory licenses in multiple jurisdictions, including Australia, Cyprus, the UAE, Mauritius, and Seychelles.
While the company has not disclosed the reasons behind Spanos' departure or named a successor, the move comes as GO Markets continues its global expansion. The broker's multi-jurisdictional presence positions it as a key player in the retail trading industry.
