FinTech firm 4OTC, a provider specializing in connectivity solutions for digital assets and foreign exchange (FX), has announced the appointment of Kyle Jannece as its new Head of Business Development, effective immediately. According to a company statement released earlier today, Jannece will be tasked with leading 4OTC's go-to-market strategy specifically targeting banking institutions.

In the new position, Jannece will be responsible for understanding and addressing the specific needs of banks as they navigate the evolving landscape of digital asset markets. This includes ensuring 4OTC's service offerings are comprehensively tailored to meet these emerging demands.  Simultaneously, he will oversee the rollout of 4OTC's existing suite of FX products, emphasizing a customer-centric approach by incorporating direct feedback into product development and identifying potential new initiatives.

Jannece joins 4OTC from CME Group (EBS), where he held a key role managing global sales and business development for the eFix Matching Service. Notably, during his tenure at CME Group, Jannece is credited with playing a pivotal role in transforming eFix from a nascent product into a globally recognized central utility utilized by banks for netting client benchmark fixing risk.

Prior to his time at CME Group, Jannece cultivated extensive experience in the FX sector, building a background in both account management and product development. He is recognized for his commitment to developing products driven by client needs, prioritizing client feedback and success. At 4OTC, Jannece will become part of a focused sales and business development team, collaborating with figures like Co-founder Alexis Atkinson and Head of Digital Assets, Rob Wing.

Expressing his enthusiasm for his new role, Kyle Jannece stated, "I'm very happy to be part of such a dynamic and enthusiastic team, and I look forward to meeting with banks and buy-side firms to find out how 4OTC can help them optimize their connectivity in these rapidly evolving markets." He further emphasized 4OTC's core mission, adding, "4OTC's mission is to provide best-in-class connectivity in both FX and Digital Assets, which allows me to continue to focus on bringing the best products to the right participants."

Alexis Atkinson, Co-founder of 4OTC, also commented on Jannece's appointment, highlighting their prior working relationship. "Having worked with Kyle before, I have seen first-hand what he can do and am keen to see the impact of his customer-driven approach at 4OTC," Atkinson remarked. He further elaborated on Jannece's initial priorities, stating his focus will be "to understand the requirements of banks entering the Digital Asset space and ensuring our products are customized to meet their needs." Atkinson also noted the significance of the recent repeal of SAB 121 for US banks entering the digital asset market, pointing to 4OTC's "battle-tested product, 1API" as a ready solution already utilized by leading dealers in the space.
