DriveWealth, a provider of Brokerage-as-a-Service technology, has appointed Naureen Hassan as its new Global Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Michael Blaugrund.

Blaugrund, who led the company during a period of growth and profitability, is departing to take on a newly created position at Intercontinental Exchange (ICE). DriveWealth founder and executive chairman Robert Cortright praised his contributions, while welcoming Hassan as the leader to guide the company's next stage of expansion. "Naureen has a proven track record as an industry innovator and disruptor and is the perfect person to lead DriveWealth through our continued evolution," Cortright said.

Hassan most recently served as President of UBS Americas, where she oversaw a $14 billion revenue division and the integration of Credit Suisse in the region. Her previous roles include senior positions at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, Morgan Stanley, and Charles Schwab, as well as early career experience at McKinsey & Company.

Commenting on her new role, Hassan said: "DriveWealth is truly changing how and where people invest and providing unique value and capabilities to partners across the globe. I am honored to step into this role, to continue building on the great work Robert and Michael have done, and to help guide the company's continued growth and success."

DriveWealth operates across five continents and facilitates over two million trades per day for its B2B partners, offering fractional share execution, multi-asset support, and 24-hour trading access to investors worldwide.
