Nomura Names Christopher Willcox as CEO & President of Nomura Securities International Inc.
Nomura Holdings, Inc., a Japanese financial holding company, announced its appointment of Christopher Willcox as CEO & President of Nomura Securities International Inc., effective May 3, 2021. He will also be appointed as Co-CEO, Nomura Holding America Inc.
According to the press release, Christopher was most recently CEO of JP Morgan Asset Management, where he was responsible for managing around $2 trillion in asset under management across all asset classes including public and private markets. Prior to JP Morgan, he served in various roles at Citigroup over a 15 year period.
Christopher earned a B.Sc. in Economics from University College London and a M.Sc. from the London School of Economics.

Earlier this month, Fazzaco reported that Nomura Holdings Inc. has named Sameer Jain as its new Chief Information Officer of Wholesale Division, based in New York. Additionally, the company's subsidary Nomura Securities Co., Ltd. has launched FINTOS, a new app that will provide information regarding investing to a broad range of users, including those who do not have an account with Nomura.
