Nuvei Gains Scheme Licenses to Process UK Payments Post-Brexit
The Canadian payment technology provider Nuvei announced yesterday that its wholly owned FCA regulated affiliate, has obtained the scheme licenses to continue acquiring and processing Mastercard and Visa payments for merchants in the UK beyond the expiry of the FCA Temporary Permissions Regime.
With the approved licenses coming at a time when the e-Commerce is booming and the expiration of the FCA Temporary Permissions Regime is impending, merchants in the UK can keep on leveraging Nuvei’s full suite of products and solutions to process payments, according to the company’s press release.
