Binance Warned by Japan's Financial Services Agency for Unregistered Service
Japan's Financial Services Agency (FSA) on Friday issued a warning against Binance for offering cryptocurrency exchange service in the country without registration.
This is the second warning FSA has sent to Binance, followed by the first one in March 2018 for the same reason. At that time, Zhao Changpeng, CEO of Binance, said the company was in a "constructive dialogue" with the regulator.
Earlier this year, Binance official account was blocked on Weibo, a Chinese blogging website, for "violating laws, regulations and Sina Weibo Community Management Regulations."
Binance has maintained robust development despite tighter regulation. It announced earlier this month that it would launch New NFT platform. In May, FXCubic finished integration with Binance for pricing and trading.
