TrueLayer Hires Clement Boulais as General Manager for France

TrueLayer, a leading technology company providing secure, global access to financial infrastructure, recently announced that it has appointed Clement Boulais as General Manager for France. The appointment comes at a time when the company continues its European expansion.
In his new role, Mr Boulais will be responsible for leading its commercial strategy in France, helping the company to connect fintechs and larger financial institutions with the 90+ per cent of French banks it offers API access to.
Mr Boulais joins TrueLayer from Gojob, a marketplace for temporary workers, where he served as VP of Sales from March 2020 to June 2021. Before this role, he worked as the Head of Startup Engagement at La French Tech, the French Economy Ministry’s organisation for promoting startups in the country. Prior to this, Finamatic utilised his services for 2 years. He also acted as a mentor at Techstars in Paris where he advised firms on fundraising and proposition development.
Over the course of his career, Mr Boulais also held various positions at different companies including Techstars, Startupbootcamp, MANGOPAY, Leetchi.com and eBay Inc..
As Fazzaco reported in April, TrueLayer has secured $70 million in Series D funding to help accelerate the launch of its flagship open banking network and solve deeper, more complex problems for customers.
