In the following article, we present a statistical analysis of the executive movements in the forex / crypto market from October 24 2024 to December 19 2024. Among them, both crypto and prop firms are put under the "Brokers".
Hiring vs. Leaving vs. Promotion
By filtering the Fazzaco News database, the data in this article uses a total of 32 news under the Executive Moves tag reported by Fazzaco since October 2024, involving 36 job changes across 31 companies.
From the perspective of company type, it is narrowed down to two categories for statistics: namely, brokers (20) and fintechs (11). Such classification is far from accurate for certain firms operate astride more fields, providing both trading as well as B2B tech solutions. Moreover, we did not include executive changes in large financial institutions that provide pan-financial services.
We categorized the personnel movements as follows:
Hiring: 19 hires, 11 from 11 brokers, and 8 from 8 fintechs;
Leaving: 4 leavings, all from 2 different brokers;
Promotion: 13 promotions, 10 from 9 brokers, and 3 from 3 fintechs.
Therefore, from the above, we can roughly infer the following data distribution (as shown below): In the industry executive movements from October 24 2024 to December 19 2024, 52.78% are hires, 11.11% are leavings and 36.11% are promotions.

Executive Moves Worth Noting
As mentioned above, it is visibly an increasing number of promotions than hires since autumn. The below is the noteworthy news:
FundYourFX, a Hong Kong-based proprietary trading firm, has appointed Snir Ahiel as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Interestingly, Ahiel is co-founder of The5ers, a leading prop trading firm. At The5ers, he spent over six years as Chief Operating Officer (COO), directing operations, strategy, and community development.
FundYourFX is also making strategic moves to expand its offerings. Traditionally focused on instant funding, the company is now introducing trading challenges for clients, aligning with broader industry trends.
Meanwhile, key executive departures continue at Multibank Group. Daniel Petro, Head of Institutional Sales, has announced his departure after serving for three years with the Dubai-based brokerage.
Petro's resignation adds to a series of high-profile departures at Multibank Group in recent months. Notably, Chief Data Officer Mahmoud Hammoud recently stepped down, following the earlier resignations of Chief Strategy Officer Ruslan Abuzant and senior marketing executive Omar Khaled.
