A Glimpse of ActivTrades' Board of Directors amid Change of Chairman

The FCA regulated forex and CFDs broker ActivTrades is seeing the departure of John Reed as the company's Chairman and member of board of directors. 

Patrick Storey, an Independent Non-Executive Director at ActivTrades, is succeeding Reed as the new Chairman, and Mr. Reed will chair another business entity with ties to Alex Pusco, CEO and founder of ActivTrades.

In addition to CEO Alex and the new Chairman Patrick, the members of ActivTrades' board of directors now also include Andrea Draghi and Alessandro Gho.

Mr. Storey is a financial services specialist who joined ActivTrades as Non-Executive Director in 2017. He now serves on a number of boards including Think Money Group and Ballybunden Ltd, a consulting services company.

Mr. Draghi has been with ActivTrades for more than 10 years, holding a number of roles including Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Risk Director.

Mr. Gho joined ActivTrades in January 2014. He has been CEO of the company and is currently Chief of Staff. 

Former Chairman Mr. Reed is a banker taking a seat on multiple boards such as EFG Private Bank Limited, the UK arm of EFG International, and Ford Credit Europe Bank plc.

He replaced Alex as Chairman of ActivTrades in 2016. His career also includes stints as CEO of Arbuthnot Latham, a private banking firm, and group COO, group head of risk, and head of corporate banking at Hambros Bank (now SocGen unit Kleinwort Hambros).

ActivTrades' former director Mr. Stephen Bernard Clowes who also took the role of Chief Finance Officer, resigned in February 2020 after more than two years.

Both the current and previous members of ActivTrades' Board of directors have proven and extensive experience in the financial services industry.
