ABK Holding Executives No Longer Needed to Attend the Hearings

The 2nd official hearing of the case against ABK Holding executives was held on 2 December.

At the first hearing held after the pandemic process and the judicial holiday, all executives were released, a report was requested from MASAK (Financial Crimes Investigation Board) and the hearing was postponed. In the last hearing, the injunction against the assets of all managers was lifted first. In addition, a new expert was appointed and the court decided to examine the legal books of the firm that filed the charges.

On the other hand, it was ruled that three of the accused administrators, especially Murat Kutay Yıldırım, no longer needed to attend the hearings.

After the hearing, we had the opportunity to have a short interview with Murat Kutay Yıldırım, the CEO of the accused company and asked him about his thoughts on the process.

"Every trial ends with a decision that shows how right we were. This accusation against us is unacceptable, but we trust the Court and the justice of the Republic of Turkey. At the end of the process, our innocence will be revealed for sure... Our family is the most affected by this process. No matter what happens, the fact that they support us and stand behind us gives us strength. In this process, we have taken all the measures that none of our customers will be victimized, we are at work as a team. We come out of each trial stronger. Victor Hugo said that "the most perfect justice is conscience". We are very comfortable in conscience. We are confident that justice will be served," he said.
