ActivTrades Brings in £50.2M Turnover for 2022, up 50%

ActivTrades, the award-winning, multi-asset global forex broker, has generaged turnover of £50.2 million for the full year of 2022, an increase of 50% from 2021’s £33.4 million. For the second half of the year, however, the revenues dropped to £18 million, 43% lower over H1 2022​.

During 2022, the profit came in at £16.3 million, compared to £3.4 million in 2021. Operating profit surged to £18.8 million from the prior year's 4.1 million, with gross profit up 52.8% to £47.2 million.

In addition, the brokerage ended the year with 20,339 active clients, 5% more than 19,448 at the end of 2021. Client deposits totaled and withdrawals were £103.1 million, and £55.9 million, up 7.7% and 6%, respectively. This leaves net deposits 10% up in 2022 at £47.3 million.

Direct cost of sales for the year reached £3.0 million, up 19% from £2.5 million in 2021. Besides, total administrative expenses (excluding FX revaluations) grew 11% to £29.0 million. These represented the continued expanding operations of ActivTrades. At the year end, ActivTrades held net assets of £57.0 million, compared to that of £70.7 million at 2021 end.
