Acuity Trading Launches Market Companion with Forward-Looking Intelligence

Acuity Trading has launched Market Companion, a broker-facing market intelligence product that pairs explanations of price moves with forward-looking analysis. The product is available now, and brokers and prop firms can book a demo at acuitytrading.com/market-companion.

Market Companion builds on Acuity's May investment in MarketReader, which provided the ability to explain why markets move. The new product sits inside a broker's platform and shows traders what is moving and why in real time. It adds a forward-looking layer by surfacing the single piece of Acuity analysis—such as an analyst rating or a live trade idea—most relevant to a specific story.

According to Acuity Trading founder Andrew Lane, the product addresses the problem of multiple loosely related datasets that leave traders to decide which one matters. Market Companion filters insights before the trader sees them, reading the direction and context of a move and showing exactly one insight—the strongest match.

Lane said that showing less information is not a risk, arguing that five conflicting signals can leave a trader stuck. He added that the commercial case for brokers is that platforms now compete on experience as much as on execution and spreads. A headline feed is easy to copy and often sends traders elsewhere, risking that they leave the platform. Market Companion keeps that moment inside the broker's own platform and under the broker's own brand. Lane said Acuity is careful not to promise it makes people trade more, but that it removes the biggest reason a trader opens a browser tab and leaves.

Market Companion is part of Acuity Intelligence's Market Intelligence pillar, alongside Trade Intelligence and Event Intelligence. It is built to pair an explanation with an upcoming event or a live trade idea.
