ACY Securities Hires Former BNP Paribas Analyst Clifford Bennett as Chief Economist

ACY Securities has recently appointed Clifford Bennett, an industry veteran with over 35 years of economic and market trading experience, as its new Chief Economist. Bennett has previously worked for a number of well-known financial institutions, including BNP Paribas and Macquarie Bank.

Specifically, Bennett has been with Macquarie Bank as Senior Currency Strategist for nearly three years and BNP Paribas as Senior Strategist Asia for more than six years. Also, he has been a regular guest of financial-related mainstream media including CNBC, Financial Times and ABC.

Commenting on the appointment, Justin Pooni, Head of Marketing, Branding & Communications at ACY Securities, said: “What we (ACY Securities) have set out to do is assemble the very best team of market analysts in Australia, if not the world. According to Pooni, ACY Securities need to strengthen the educational and market analysis’ side. For this purpose, the firm added Bennett to their team.
