Admirals Announces Leadership Transition in Central and Eastern Europe

Admirals, an Estonia-based retail FX and CFDs broker, has announced a leadership change within its Central and Eastern European operations. Bogdan Albu is stepping down from his role as Regional Director for Romania and Hungary, a position he held since 2021, as part of a planned transition. Cosmin Ruse has been appointed to assume these responsibilities.
Bogdan Albu's departure follows six years with Admirals, where he initially served in a global sales coordination role before establishing and leading the company's Romania branch and regional responsibilities for Romania and Hungary. Prior to joining Admirals, he spent seven years at XTB Romania, contributing to the establishment and expansion of their local branch.
Albu expressed confidence in his successor, stating, "I'm very pleased to see Cosmin stepping into this role. We are not only long-time colleagues, but also close friends, having worked together on various projects over the years. He's an experienced finance professional and trader, with deep knowledge of the market, and I'm confident that the region is in excellent hands under his leadership."
Cosmin Ruse brings extensive experience from the brokerage industry, having previously led the Romanian branch of UK-based City Credit Capital and held management roles in various local brokerage firms covering operations, trading, marketing, and sales. His background also includes experience as a trader and compliance professional, which Admirals believes will support its continued development in the Romanian and Hungarian markets.
