ADX Taps ICE Global Network to Offer Direct Market Access to Global Investors

The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), one of the largest financial markets in the Middle East, has announced its selection of the ICE Global Network from Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (ICE) to expand its investor base by facilitating real-time access to market data and order entry. This marks the first instance of such an initiative in the Middle East financial market.

ICE is a leading global provider of data, technology, and market infrastructure. Its ICE Global Network, with hubs located around the world, allows banks, asset managers, hedge funds and other market participants to have direct market access to data and execution services from over 150 exchanges and marketplaces globally.

In the announcement, ASD stated that "the addition of ADX to ICE Global Network leverages ICE's previous work in the region partnering with the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) to create ICE Futures Abu Dhabi, and brings greater and simpler accessibility to local markets."
