After Over 2 Years at OneRoyal, Dominic Poynter Departs as CCO

Dominic Poynter has left his position as Chief Commercial Officer at retail FX and CFDs broker OneRoyal, confirming his departure in a LinkedIn post. "
After more than 15 years building and growing FX/CFD businesses, I'm available for my next commercial challenge," he said. Poynter joined OneRoyal as Head of Marketing before moving into the CCO role in 2025, holding the marketing position for more than a year in Limassol, Cyprus.
Prior to OneRoyal, he spent about a year as Chief Marketing Officer at HYCM in Limassol, focusing on go-to-market and digital strategies. He previously worked at Axiory for two years as Marketing Director in Cyprus, overseeing marketing operations across Africa, MENA/GCC, and Southeast Asia, including budget planning, team building, and trading platform management.
Poynter also spent two years as Head of Marketing at ATFX Global Markets (formerly Positiva Markets) in Limassol, where he worked on global marketing strategies and the launch of the retail brand after its acquisition, building marketing infrastructure covering websites, CRM systems, and affiliate programmes. Earlier in his career, he spent three years at easyMarkets as Director of Marketing Operations in Limassol.
His departure from OneRoyal marks the end of his latest role in the retail FX and CFDs sector, and he has not publicly disclosed his next position.
Poynter's exit comes as OneRoyal continues to expand its presence across the MENA region. In May 2025, the broker opened a registered office in Muscat, Oman, and earlier that year appointed former Uruguay international Diego Forlán as a brand ambassador, following a partnership with AcuityTrading for AI-powered analytics.
