Following a risk alert issued by Pakistan’s Telecommunication Authority (PTA), the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) also publicly stated that Exness has not obtained local financial regulatory approval, and related investment activities carry significant risks.

Previously, at the end of 2024, Pakistan’s PTA issued a notice to the public warning against multiple forex trading platforms, including Exness. The PTA pointed out that these platforms had not received legal authorization from the Pakistan Securities and Exchange Commission (SECP) but were offering forex trading services to the public online, posing high investment risks.

In January 2026, the Philippine SEC issued an official statement noting that EXNESS GLOBAL LIMITED is not registered as a legal entity in the Philippines and has not obtained any licenses to conduct securities, forex, or investment-related business. As such, it is not authorized to provide investment services to the public. The regulator emphasized that investments made through these activities are not protected under Philippine law, putting investors’ funds at risk.

Furthermore, the Philippine SEC warned that any individuals participating in Exness promotions—as promoters, agents, recruiters, influencers, or online assistants—may be in violation of the Securities Regulation Code, facing penalties of up to PHP 5 million and imprisonment for up to 21 years.

Before participating in any online investment, investors should verify whether the platform holds a valid local regulatory license and avoid transferring funds or opening accounts through unofficial channels. Financial safety is critical: compliance is the baseline, and risk management is the safeguard.
