AIF FIAM Fund Variable Capital Investment Company Ltd Dissolved and Put Into Liquidation

The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) today announced that, FIAM Fund Variable Capital Investment Company Ltd, an alternative investment fund (AIF) with Licence Number AIF05/2014, is dissolved and put into voluntary liquidation following the full redemption of its units. This was nade in accordance with article 63(1)(d) of the Alternative Investment Funds Law of 2018.

According to the official press release, the company’s dissolution was communicated to CySEC, as per article 63(8) of the Law, by its external manager, the Alternative Investment Fund Manager SCSS Fund Management.

​As Fazzaco reported earlier, CySEC has announced to impose a total administrative fine of €160,000 to Cyprus investment firm (CIF) Atlas Capital Financial Services Ltd​, the operator of forex and CFD trading platform ACFX. Moreover, the company’s four directors are banned from exercising professional activity related to the financial sector for a period of two years or six months.
