AJ Bell Names Evelyn Bourke as Member of Nomination Committee

AJ Bell​, the United Kingdom's second-largest listed investment platform, has announced that Evelyn Bourke, a non-executive director, will be appointed as a member of the Nomination Committee. The appointment is with effect from the end of the 2022 Annual General Meeting.

The chair of the AJ Bell Board, Les Platts, and senior independent director, Laura Carstensen, who are both currently members of the Nomination Committee, will step down from the Board at the end of the 2022 AGM.

As seen on her LinkedIn profile, Evelyn is currently a Non-executive Director at an iconic British multinational retail company, and Non-executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee at Bank of Ireland, as well as Non-executive Director and Chair of the Remuneration Committee at Admiral Group Plc. Additionally, she had previously held senior roles at a number of financial services businesses.

Evelyn earned her MBA from London Business School in 1999.

Judging from her career, Evelyn has extensive board experience as CFO, Executive Director and Non-Executive Director. Her invaluable experience and insight will ensure she becomes a valued member of the Board of AJ Bell. Her appointment will also be of great benefit to the company.
