Alex Mollart to Take Over Tandem CEO from Susie Aliker
Tandem, a UK challenger bank, has appointed Alex Mollart the Chief Exectuvie designate, who will take over the job from Susie Aliker.
Tandem's board has appointed Alex Mollart as chief executive designate as part of the bank's succession plans, with Aliker set to work closely with him over the next few months as he prepares for his new role.
Mollart is currently the deputy CEO at the bank, who joined the firm through the acquisition of consumer lending firm Oplo, which he founded and ran as CEO.
As current CEO, Aliker has helped the bank achieve profitability and overseen the growth of its lending and deposit balances.
Commenting on her leave, Susie Aliker said:
"I'm hugely proud of everything we've delivered in my time at Tandem and the work we've done to create a strong platform for future growth and position Tandem as a fast-growing, digital bank with a purpose-driven strategy focused on the transition to Net Zero.
Having become profitable and delivered growth in both deposit and lending balances, Tandem now has a clear path to achieving scale and sustained profitability as the UK's greener digital bank.
