Alpha Group Founder Grants Shares to Senior Management

Alpha Group International plc has revealed that its founder and former CEO, Morgan Tillbrook, has pledged 1,103,555 ordinary shares, valued at approximately £28 million (USD $35 million), to senior leadership members within the company. This gesture is intended to both thank the leadership team for their past performance and to motivate them for future achievements.
The grant, which has been approved by the company's Remuneration Committee, is a strategic move by Tillbrook as he steps back from day-to-day operations following his departure as CEO on December 31, 2024. His successor, Clive Kahn, has already taken over the role. Despite stepping down, Tillbrook remains the largest shareholder in the company, holding 14.2% of its shares, although this share grant will reduce his stake to approximately 11.6%.
In a letter to major shareholders and advisors, Tillbrook explained that the share transfer was intended to align the management team with the company's investors and foster a founder mentality among the leadership. "I am incredibly privileged to have been part of Alpha's growth over the last 15 years," Tillbrook stated. "I would like to transfer some of my shareholding to the wider team for their successful efforts in getting us to this stage, to incentivise them to further grow shareholder value."
The move comes as Alpha Group continues to maintain its position as a key player in the corporate FX solutions space, with these incentives structured to align management's goals with the company's long-term success.
