Balint, a seasoned marketing professional with 25 years of industry experience, brings a wealth of expertise to Airwallex as the company continues to expand its footprint in the dynamic global payments sector.
Balint’s career spans leadership roles at prominent organizations such as Afterpay, amaysim, Ola, and Optus. At Airwallex, Balint will lead marketing operations across key markets including Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Malaysia. His responsibilities encompass driving brand strategy, executing integrated campaigns, fostering partnerships, and overseeing content creation. Expressing enthusiasm for his new role, Balint highlighted Airwallex’s prominent position within the rapidly evolving global payments landscape. “Airwallex’s innovative approach and strong growth trajectory have been inspiring to watch from the outside. I’m excited to contribute to the company’s next phase of expansion and to play a role in strengthening its presence across the APAC region,” he stated.
Arnold Chan underscored the strategic significance of Balint’s appointment as Airwallex approaches its 10th anniversary and continues to diversify its offerings. “Andrew’s extensive experience and proven track record in leading marketing teams make him an invaluable addition to our leadership. His insights will be critical as we navigate new markets and launch innovative products,” Chan remarked.
