Anvar Hussain Named CEO, MENA & APAC at DB Investing

DB Investing, the Financial Services Authority Seychelles licensed retail and multi-asset broker, announced today that it has appointed the financial industry veteran Anvar Hussain as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for MENA & APAC.

"The multilingual professional has extensive banking and finance experience, boasting multiple senior roles in his successful career so far. He has degrees in mathematics and accounting," DB Investing commented.

Anvar has taken on the new role since March 2023, according to his LinkedIn profile. Most recently, he worked at Forex brokerage TrioMarkets MENA as CEO for Middle East, Africa and South Asia. Prior to that, he was Senior Finance Officer at a financial super-app Jingle Pay.

Previously, Anvar has served brokerages including FP Markets, ATFX Global and One Financial Markets, with positions including Chief Financial Officer- MEA & SA, Finance Manager (GCC & Kenya) and DFSA Authorised Finance Officer, Senior Manager. From July 2013 to December 2016, he was DFSA Authorised Finance Officer, Manager- Finance & Accounts at SIDRA Capital DIFC, a DIFC based investment bank.

Anvar has worked for North American Services Center as Financial Controller for more than one year. Besides, between September 2006 and November 2007, he served Scope International, a subsidiary of Standard Chartered Bank, as Senior Financial Analyst (UK Reporting).
